The Stadium of Light opened in 1997 and is the home of Sunderland A.F.C. It is located in the city of Sunderland, in the North East of England and it has a capacity for 49,000 espectators. It has hosted two full England international games and currently hosts the graduation ceremonies of the University of Sunderland.
